Rumor: Vincent Calistro to coach Totino-Grace football

When a devastating injury ended VC's football season he was visited by a Minnesota High School football hall of fame coach.  Coach Ferguson of the Totino-Grace football team came to Regions Hospital to catch up with the football and basketball stud of Irondale High School.  Part of the agenda is talking about a possible Calistro coaching regime at the Eagle's Nest.   Be on the lookout for "The Decision Part Deux starring VC."  Taking that job at TG would put an icon like Vince in a Lebronesque situation.  I'm calling out to all Irondale students, let's pull out all the big guns and keep this charismatic figure in our hallways.

Congratulations to Bryan Sprang

Congratulation to Bryan Sprang for becoming the all-time career leading scorer in Irondale Knights Boys Basketball history.  Last night, he surpassed Danny Peterson in the all-time list as he scored 13 points against North St. Paul.  Bryan was 62 points shy of the record entering the season.  Four games into the season, Bryan has finally done it.  He is trailing Royce Kelly Lund for the all-time career scoring record at Irondale with 1360 points.  Bryan's career point total stands at 1106 as of this minute.  I will be surprised if Bryan does not overtake Kelly as the record holder within the next 5 games   Again, Congratulations to you Mr. Sprang.  You have made the NBAFFL crew proud.
